AmplioSpeech Inc. is an innovator in digital speech-language pathology, employing a community of qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and SLP assistants (SLP-As) to deliver ground-breaking speech-language pathology services to students.
We are currently looking for an experienced, energetic, creative and open-minded ASHA-certified SLP, for a full-time position in our Rockville office, to lead, mentor and recruit our entire SLP community.
Assume oversight of the caseload of the company. Monitor the caseload, review reports and ensure clinical progress is made towards the IEP goals of each student
Work with the SLP to improve the clinical outcome
Work in concert with the Online Clinic Manager when required to be present in clinical dialogue with schools
Ensure clinical reports to school are delivered as needed
Be the key knowledge expert in the clinical service delivery model and extend this knowledge to our community of clinicians through training and mentorship
Constantly develop and improve our clinical service delivery in collaboration with our development team and senior clinicians. Develop clinical protocols that utilize advanced technology in order to achieve the expected clinical outcome.
Address any clinical questions that arise from the day-to-day operations
Develop and maintain a knowledge center for local, state and federal licensing and regulations
Maintain and enhance our community of SLPs and SLP-As via knowledge sharing activities, webinars, social media, etc.
In concert with the HR department, interview clinicians and make employment decisions
Ensure all licensing requirements are valid and renewed on-time
Provide training to new SLPs and SLP-As
10 years of experience as an SLP in school settings
Strong managerial and leadership skills
Expertise in state and federal speech-language pathology rules and regulations
Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner
Must possess strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information
Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently
Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
Experience in providing online therapy is a plus
Experience working in global companies/hi-tech is a plus
Moderate travel may be required
