Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at Boston University. Responsibilities will include the coordination of clinical placements for MS-SLP students, teaching within the undergraduate and MS in Speech-Language Pathology program, clinical supervision, and student mentoring. This is a full-time, 9-month non-tenure track position at the Clinical Assistant Professor level with the potential for summer overbase salary. Start date for the position is January 1st, 2021.
Applicants must have ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and be eligible for Massachusetts licensure; an earned doctorate degree is preferred. Experience in clinical supervision with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and a minimum of five-years of direct clinical practice are required. A strong interest in community outreach is also essential.
